Security Procedures when Visiting the U.S. Embassy
Please be assured that the U.S. Embassy places a high priority on customer service and wish to make the screening processes as easy as possible for our guests, while addressing security concerns. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the screening process so that you can move through the checkpoints more rapidly. We provide a list of prohibited items below to help you expedite your screening process at the U.S. Embassy.

- Guns and ammunition
- Knives
- Pepper spray
- Cameras
- Laptops
- Cellphones
- Pagers
- Walkmans
- Gameboys or other handheld videogames
- Palm pilots
