Transportation Letter

For Stolen/Lost/Expired Alien Registration Card

(US Legal Permanent Residents Only)

A Transportation Letter is a letter issued to a US Legal Permanent Resident (a green card holder) who has an expired, lost, or stolen green card and needs to travel to the United States. The transportation letter is valid for one week and for one entry. For security processing it may take more than one day to obtain the letter.

Hours for Transportation Letters: Monday or Friday, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM.

Please bring the following documents to your interview.

  • Completed Form I-90 Application Form
  • Valid Passport
  • Police lost/stole report
  • Airline ticket
  • Proof of Alien Residence A-number
  • Color Photographs:Three (3) recent photographs on glossy paper are required. The photographs must be, 2 by 2 inches (5 x 5 cm) in size, with no head covering, and showing a full, front-face view against a white background, without earings. We do not accept digital photos.
  • Processing fee US $165.00 or the equivalent in Bolivar's, CASH ONLY.
