Deportation / Voluntary Departure (Departure Verification)
If you have been arrested in the United States for an immigration violation and have chosen to take voluntary departure, you may schedule an appointment with the Immigrant Visa Unit by e-mailing ImmigrantCaracas@state.gov.
Please bring your current and former passports, the documents you received from USCIS or the immigration judge in the United States, and the original boarding pass from the flight you took to return to Venezuela.
Please note that any bond paid when you were arrested will not be returned at the U.S. Embassy. A consular officer will briefly interview you about the circumstances of your departure from the United States and return the original forms to the Department of Homeland Security in the United States. You will receive a copy of these signed forms for your record. You must appear at the Embassy in person to prove your return to Venezuela.
