Delivery Options
Passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad can be picked up at the American Services Section Unit or they can be mailed through the courier service located outside the Embassy. Delivery fees are not collected in the ACS Unit and are the sole responsibility of the applicant.
If you wish to have someone else pick up your documentation that person must bring a signed authorization letter from you identifying him/her both by name and cédula or passport number. That person must also submit for cancellation any still valid passport in your possession.
