Adding Additional Visa Pages

You do not need an appointment in order to add visa pages to your U.S. Passport.

  • Applications to add visa pages to U.S. passports are accepted during our regular passport services hours.
  • You must submit a signed Application for Additional Visa Pages and your valid U.S. passport.
  • Only one 24-page set of extra pages can be added to your passport at a time.
  • Additional pages cannot be added to a damaged or mutilated passport.  If your passport remains in good condition, you may have up to three sets of extra pages inserted into your passport.  If your passport is deteriorated or if you reach the three set limit, you will need to apply for passport renewal.
  • You may submit your passport and application personally or through a third party. If you choose to send it with a third party, make sure you include a letter authorizing the person to complete the application process for you at the Embassy.
  • Passports are available for pick-up the next business day.
  • The fee for additional passport pages is $82.00 or the equivalent in local currency.  For additional information please see Payment Options.
